The unit of Adaikalam held a Press Meet yesterday.

This film directed by A. R. Bhuvanaraja and produced by Kalavathi Srinarayanadas and N. Narayanadas stars Prasanth and Uma in the lead roles. Sabesh-Murali take care of music while Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics.

“The film would be released early next month,” said Director Bhuvanaraja. He also added, “We have crossed all hurdles and are now ready with the movie's release. Prasanth has played his part well while Thyagarajan in the role of his father has given a solid performance,” he remarked.

Prasanth said, “It is an engrossing movie with the right mix of emotions and sentiments. I am sure it will attract the womenfolk. Adaikalam would be a movie to cherish in my career.”

Thyagarajan and Saranya heaped laurels on Bhuvanaraja for conceiving such a different storyline.

A whole galaxy of celebrities including Vairamuthu, director Seeman, Saranya Ponvannan, Radha Ravi and Thyagarajan attended the occasion. All those who spoke on the occasion expressed happiness at the way the film has shaped up and were hopeful of delivering a success.

The trailor of the film was released on the occasion.
